This was exactly what was on his mind when, in the summer of 2021, Giorgos Papaioannou launched his third restaurant in Kavouri.

The south of Athens has been a highly sought-after destination since the stars flocked its Riviera in the 1960s, turning the spotlight on this incredible, unpretentiously luxurious spot. It is here that PAPAIOANNOU restaurant spread its tables right on the pier, serving up a careful curation of fine fresh fish and seafood along with local ingredients, giving shape to dishes of pure Greek flavours and colours.

The experience is completed with a long yet thoughtful wine list of Greek and international labels, chosen one by one for their excellent quality and their ability to accentuate the tastes of the PAPAIOANNOU menu, creating a complete sensory affair.
